Use the recorded drum capacity to compare the models. Programme load limits can be lower than the headline capacity, particularly for delicate fabrics. Maximum spin speed is another useful comparison when laundry will be air-dried or put in a tumble dryer; check the garment label before selecting a programme.
Check the detergent system
TwinDos, PowerWash and CapDosing describe different functions. Read the features of the selected model and its Miele instructions before deciding which is useful for your routine. A model name or a similar-looking control panel is not enough to establish that a particular function is included.
Measure the space and delivery route
Check appliance height, width and depth, allowing for connections and door opening as required by Miele. Measure the route from the entrance to the utility space, including stairs and tight turns. If replacing a stacked pair, confirm the exact stacking-kit compatibility before ordering.
